Pine Forge Academy.
Established in 1946, Pine Forge Academy is a historically black, Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school that provides a Christ-centered curriculum. The school is just one of four African-American boarding academies in the nation, offering a high quality education on a serene and secluded campus environment. The Pine Forge campus is located on a historic property once owned by abolitionist iron miller, Thomas Rutter. Many of the property’s original buildings remain intact, including the historic Manor House, which had secret tunnels that were a part of the Underground Railroad’s slave escape route. www.pineforgeacademy.org [Top]The Hill School.
